At Auckland airport

Hi All,
we were picked up no problems at 9am by the airport shuttle. Decided to go this way as it is too hard to say goodbye to family otherwise!!

Arrived at the airport just after 11am and practised the first part of learning to be a snob- bypassed a humongous queue at Malaysia, straight into the golden class line - No queue! Im afraid to say even though I am against elitism, I could DEFINITELY get used to this!!!

Then up to customs and a little peeved to see that they are now making you pay for the plastic bags they enforce you use for liquids etc??!! What a money making venture! Shouldnt they provide them if they make you use them??

Anyhow, got thru customs no worries and into the ?Koru class lounge. OMG ! Trying to act like we have been many times before, there is a buffet bar with endless food and any drinks you desire - all before you even get on the plane!!

About to leave to get on the plane- they have unfortunately stuffed up our seating, so we are now in the middle aisles, no window for Danni :-( but at least we are all together. Need to be relaxed about airports we decided, since we will be in so many!

So its goodbye New Zealand- hello Kuala Lumpur !!

Cya :-)

I just put a longgg comment in but not sure if it stayed on the site so will put it in again. We will refer to you collectively from now on as TITT - The Intrepid Travelling Trio. Thought of you all the way on your first longgggg trip, and was still awake around 12.30 am (8.30pm KL time) hoping you had arrived on time. No doubt you had a great time in Business Class - hope Danni was able to see out a window from time to time. As for the snobsville of Bus.Class - you were all BORN to such things! Well, possibly - nah, probably not... just kidding. You are probably asleep at the hotel as I write this. Next stop London!
Sam rang early yesterday evening - she was fine and told us all about her day with friends etc, then she phoned again later to try & give us their "flat cat" because we didn't have one - we politely declined. Hopefully this comments will stay put!
Lots of love Ma & Pa, Toni & Tony, Nanna & Poppa - from now on will refer to ourselves as MPTTNP!!

HI Mum
I had the feeling you would be awake thinking of us! Have just posted on the next thread, all is well, we are great and life is pretty easy doing this kind of thing.
1 thing I have learned quickly, unlike a man, I ask for help or directions straight away instead of struugling with foreign languages!!

Will catch up soon
Love the TITTS (as if?!@$#@!)

Hi travellers.

Firstly Dancing with Stars, Frank Bunce went, I feel it was rather a shame because Holmes is soooo woeful, the judges were not even too sure what to score, he did a dance to Thriller, go figure. Hopefully he will be out tomorrow night, will keep you posted. Suzanne is still quite superb and by far is the favourite.

It is very difficult to give you any news, I am just supping up all yours and feeling so 'homesick'. Funny what six weeks of travel can do. I notice you are wearing your jackets, getting a bit cold in places. Denise stop converting too, I know it is hard, but just know that it is very very expensive. Who cares, enjoy.

You look like you are having such a terrific time.

Hayley won Treasure Island too if you watched that.

Hope you have lots of practice with your French in France.

Until then.

Bye bye
